Wool prices published
<N.Z. Press NAPIER Hawke's Bay wootgrowers selling through auction at the six Napier sales of the 197475 season have received sl7m less than they did the previous season. The latest figures released by the Hawke’s Bay Woolbrokers’ Association reveal that this season 240,345 bales of wool have been sold for $34,035,410, compared with 238,780 bales for $51,192,690 at the same time last year , The sole encouraging 'aspect is that the average !bale price paid at the last sale in April was the best ‘this season.
