New girls' champion
(N.Z. Press Association! WANGANUI i The 20-year-old Aucklander. Kaye Maxwell, is the new national junior girls' golf [champion. Yesterday, she took the title when her opponent in [a tense final at Castlecliff, Brenda Ormsby (Te Puke), ’missed an 18ft putt on the [last green, which gave Miss [Maxwell victory by one up. [ In the semi-finals, Miss Maxwell beat Cathy Ramm (Taupo), 7 and 5, and Miss Ormsby defeated Carol Langlands (Rotorua), 4 and 2.
