Weather change

/N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 15. The news and current affairs director for TVI (Mr Douglas Eckhoff) said today ne had taken public complaints about the weather presentation into account when making his decision to change it. But he also maintained that he had been intending to change it anyway. Mr Eckhoff said a statement attributed to him by the Press Association yesterday said he had not changed the presentation because of complaints from the public. “What I did say was we would have changed the weather presentation if we had received complaints or not,” he said.

“We would have changed it because I was personally unhappy with it.”
