RACING Princess Eulogy set for third win

("The Press” Special Service) HASTINGS. Princess Eulogy looks set to make it three wins on end when she contests the Teachers Whisky Handicap, first leg of the T.A.B. double at Gisborne today.

The second leg of the double is the Waihirere 'Wines Handicap, and if first-day form works out, Micheletta will combine again with Princess Eulogy.

With two exceptions in the first leg and three in the second leg, the fields are the same as Princess Eulogy and Micheletta beat convincingly on the first day of the Poverty Bay Turf club’s meeting.

Both Proud Hagen and Idunno pose problems, for Princess Eulogy again, but an even stronger challenge may come from the lightweight and first day winner, Morven Time. * The 1400 metres of the Waihirere Handicap will probably suit Micheletta even more than the 1200 metres over which she won on the first day.

Gina Gianelli will be the danger again and Rumba Royal looks the only one of the first day losers capable of threatening. More interest will be

taken in the efforts of the Hastings galloper Stylish Wave and the St Puckle mare, Waiteti Lass. Both are off the minimum and both j have proven ability at this time of the year on soft ' tracks.

Unless conditions have dried out the track will again be cutting out. Selections:—
