A narrow but convincing win behind Wee Lu In the probationary drivers race at Addington last night gave Fraser Kirk a two point lead in the Maurice Holmes Trophy, with lust one race remaining in the series Kirk now has 19 points, with Paul Hampton on 17 and Peter Jones on 15 hris nearest rivals. Hampton, who ied the competition before last night’s race, was unplaced with Lordson, while Jones came third with Caught Smoking. The last race in the series will be at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting on Friday, May 23 and the winning driver will spend two weeks in Victoria.
