Ampol gets 3c a gallon more
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY.
Ampol Petroleum, Ltd, has announced that the Prices Justification Tribunal granted the company a 3c a gallon price rise for petroleum products, from May 12.
The rise is conditional on Ampol entering into contracts for imported crude oil to cover requirements above its local crude quota.
Ampol had asked for a 9c a gallon rise, to cover imported crude costs. The company said the rise is in addition to a 2.15 c a gallon interim increase granted in March.
