Netball squad chosen
Because they will be involved with the New Zealand team atj the world tournament in Auck-i land. Maxine Blomquist, Frances Granger (Technical) and Christine Pietzner (Hagley) have been omitted from the Canterbury netball squad. Twenty-two players have been named; from them 12 will be chosen for the - South Island tournament at Rangiora during Queen’s Birthday week-end. The first trial will be at the Hagley courts next Saturday at 3.30 p.m. The trialists are:— Robyn Foster. Sandra Richards, Sue Alorton (Technical); Lynda Shepherd.
