Two injured in crashes
A man was injured yesterday when his motor-cycle went out of contrcl on the road across the Teddington flats at the head of Lyttelton Harbour, at mid-day. The motor-cyclist, Peter Julian Davis, aged 23, of 150 Blenheim Road, Riccarton, suffered leg, arm and head injuries and lacerations. He was admitted to The Princess Margaret Hospital where his condition last evening was described as satisfactory. A car and a motor-cycle collided on the corner of St Andrews Hill Road and Marama Crescent, St Andrews Hill, at 9.30 a.m. yesterday. The motor-cyclist, Andrew Wiltshire, aged 17, of 12 Muritai Terrace, Mount Pleasant, suffered leg injuries.
He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was described as satisfactory.
