Clothing firm closes branch
(A’.Z Press Association) WHANGAREI, April 15. A fashion clothing factory, employing 15 people, closed in Whangarei today. The factdry, opened 18 months ago, is a branch of Michael Grace. Ltd. Arrangements have been made for completion of orders on hand. The Whangarei branch manager, Mrs I. Pollock, said the closing was caused by a financial crisis, which arose from retailers’ failing to pay for the firms’ products promptly.
