Gandar; (Nat., Ruahine) —the Opposition spokesman on education. ; —that 166 science candidates and 35 physics candidates] had their papers collected early through “unauthorised. action” by the examination] . supervisor. All the pupils affected sat: the papers at Nelson College. 1 A complete assessment of all the pupils concerned had , subsequently been made by the school, and this had been . compared with their actual examination performance. “In the very few cases where marks were not as , high as expected, the department issued amended results to candidates based on I aegrotat assessment,” said Mr Amos.
