Two searches called off
(N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH, April 15. The West Coast police have finally abandoned searches for two men missing in bush since Easter. Kelly Griffiths, aged 16, of Hokitika, was lost in the Styx River, south-east of Hokitika, and William Waghorn, of Christchurch, disappeared in the Lake Christabel area, near the Lewis Pass during a hunting expedition.
