The appointee will be expected to be familiar with modern trace quantitative analysis including methods commonly employed to measure accuracy and error. The appointee will need experience with most of the following instruments: Techicon Autoanalyses 11, atomic absorptiometer, ion electrodes, autotritrator, and flow through spectrophotometers. Applicants must have proven organising ability; the appointee will be responsible for staff training, work scheduling, analytical checks and general laboratory control. Prospective applicants should have N.Z.C.S. or B.S.C. Chemistry as a minimum qualification plus at least 12 years experience in laboratory work, preferably the last few in a management position.
