Burglary at Woodend
Two burglars were apprehended last night soon after they broke into the Woodend Beach Store about 10 o’clock.
The storekeeper and his wife who live 200 yards from the store were wakened by noises and called the police. A patrol car and dog handlers from Christchurch Central assisted Rangiora police in tracking down the burglars who had made off with a sugar bag full of cigarettes land groceries.
