Chch man made A.F.S. trustee
A Christchurch man has been appointed a term trustee of the American Field Service, according to advice received from the headquarters of the organisation in New York. He is Mr A. T. Candy, who is now in his third term as president of American Field Service in New Zealand. He also served for three years as president of the Christchurch branch of the organisation. year in the United States while American students
come here for a year. In recent years the scheme has been extended to include exchanges with other countries. As a term trustee, Mr Candy becomes one of a group of 50 trustees who are the ultimate authority in all matters concerning the organisation. His appointment is for three years and will involve attending annual meetings in New York in January each year up until 1978.
