X Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. During talks this week between Cabinet Ministers and leaders of various sectors of the economy, the Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr Freer) will give an up-to-date statement of the Government’s energy policy. Reaction from those attending will be invited. In a comment on the programme for the meetings, the Prime Minister (Mr Rowling( said that Mr Freer would make this statement during the Tuesday morning session. Answering a question during his talk with a group of newspaper editors. Mr Rowling said the Government was looking closely at the programme' of capital investment in fuelburning equipment, with a view to promoting the use of New Zealand’s energy resources and reducing the use of imported fuel.
