Small ‘quake

- N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. A moderate earthquake was felt in Wellington. Nelson, and Marlborough at 7.27 tonight. The superintendent of the Seismological Observatory (Dr D. R. Adams) said the tremor was centred about 50 kilometres from Wellington, and had a strength of 41 on the Richter scale. There were no after-shocks from the earthquake, which meant it was moderately deep, he said. Dr Adams said there were about 15 earthquakes of that size every year in New Zealand.
