- N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. A moderate earthquake was felt in Wellington. Nelson, and Marlborough at 7.27 tonight. The superintendent of the Seismological Observatory (Dr D. R. Adams) said the tremor was centred about 50 kilometres from Wellington, and had a strength of 41 on the Richter scale.
