Mr W. Lloyd Barry, branch overseer and missionary of Jevoha’s Witnesses in Japan for the last 25 years, is visiting Christchurch on leave Mr Barry was born and educated in Christchurch He land his wife will leave soon for the Watchtower Societv s headquarters in Brooklyn New York, where Mr Barr will join members of the governing body of Jehovah - Witnesses Mr Barry said that when he and his wife first went to Japan as mis sionaries in 1950. there were [only 12 Witnesses tn the [country. When he left last i week, the membership vv a [more than 27,000.
