March Legend was (20 lengths in front at the (finish. He was most impresisive but Nuriootpa was not |in a galloping mood. ! March Legend bears a nt | appearance for the Sires’ ; Produce Stakes. Dive Bomber covered 1000 j ! easily in l:7.6sec. The last (600, in 38.6 sec, was the fast-; est part of the work. He, travelled well and looks! ready to test his rivals.
Sugatariat took a slow! (l:llsec for his 1000 m, the; ; last 600 in 39sec. He is an-' j other fit runner in the Sires’; Produce Stakes.
Bartlesville was most impressive when shading Delhi Khan over 800 in 48.2 sec, the last 600 in 35.25ec. It (was a great trial and seconds better than any other. Bartlesville, a Piko colt, has made rapid progress since his good fourth at Awapuni last week. Persuasian took l:32sec for 1400 m, the last 600 in 3Psec. She looks fit for her clash with Rosie’s Girl in the 8.8. A. Stakes. Kenann finished within a neck of Gnapai, with a gap to Tom’s Mate, at the end of 1200 m in l:l7sec, the last 600 in 38. Kenann did not do well leading up to the
Awapuni Gold Cup but was! far more impressive yester-j day. Rosie’s Girl completed ■ 1200 m in 1:19 3-ssec, the' last 600 fast in 36sec.
