Sporting lottery

An unusual sports contest in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is offering tickets to the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow as prizes.

Points are awarded for a 3000 m jog, a 2000 m walk, an Bkm cross-coun-try ski race, and for cycling, basketball, swimming, yachting, angling, physical exercises and other sporting events. The personal scores of participants will be entered on special cards and those who qualify with sufficiently high aggregates will nave their cards entered into a lottery for Games tickets. The ballots will be drawn each year until 1980.
