Rugby men get offers

(N.Z. Press Association} AUCKLAND, Not satisfied with luring the King Country All Black, G. J. Whiting, into changing from union to league in Auckland, the Maritime league club has also made approaches to W. Marsh, the King Country captain, and A. R. Gordon, the vicecaptain and full-back. Gordon admitted last evening that he had been considering an offer but had not as yet signed anything. It is understood Marsh expressed no interest in a switch of codes.
