'MILK NOT NEEDED’

WELLINGTON, April 9.
The milk-in-schools scheme had not been reintroduced in any areas because the Health Department had not considered it necessary, said the Minister of Health (Mr McGuigan) in Parliament today. “Studies by the department have shown there is no general problem of malnutrition,” Mr McGuigan said.
