Gospel Radio to reapply

The Gospel Radio Fellow- j ship will apply again for a! licence for its proposed sta--tion, Radio Rhema. It is also! about to mount its most com-1 pr’ehensive campaign for I national support. This week-end, the cam-, paign will be opened in Wellington at a representatives’ convention, says a statement from the society. Branches 6f the society have been opened and representatives appointed throughout the country. Documentary evidence needed to convince the Broadcasting Council that a gospel radio was in the public interest was continuing to come in from mayors, community groups and leaders, the statement said. At the Wellington convention, society members will map future policy, and hear excerpts from the station’s one-day broadcast in November.
