(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) SAIGON. In a surprise development, President Thieu today postponed a meeting with President Ford’s special envoy to' South Vietnam, one of several unexplained events that fuelled speculation about major political changes.

A number of Government and military sources hinted to friends that political shifts might be imminent, but offered no details. One said he would talk “after certain events take place.” President Thieu abruptly postponed from today until Wednesday his meeting with Mr Ford’s envoy, the United States Army Chief-of-Staff, General Frederick Weyand.
