Qualifications required: First Mate Foreign going Certificate. Second Mate Foreign going Certificate or Home Trade Masters or Deep sea Fishing Vessel Certificates would be acceptable. A knowledge of fishing would be an advantage. Training in Fisheries Regulations and their application will be provided. A high level of physical fitness is necessary and applicants should be between 25-35 years of age. Salary will be paid according to qualifications and experience and will include an allowance of 50 per cent of salary in lieu of overtime.
