MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT SURVEYOR (AVIONICS) THE POSITION is in the Avionic Unit of Airworthiness Branch at our Head Office in Wellington. The duties include drafting airworthiness publications pertaining to aircraft electrical instrument and radio systems, surveillance of avionic aspects of aircraft and approved organisations and airworthiness administration. Applicants should have aircraft maintenance engineer avionic licences or be otherwise qualified in aircraft avionic maintenance. A sound knowledge of electronics is essential.
