Auckland), at rhe New Zealand Javelin class yachting championships. Tina finished with 188 points, beating Joshua bv two points, with Anaconda, sailed by D. Mcßeath (Napier), in third place on 180 points. It was one of the closest championships, with only 10 points separating the top five boats. Ball in Joshua made a bold bid to retain the championship. sailed in light conditions, when he won the fourth race of the series, but he finished back in fourth place behind Anaconda and 1 tna in the last race.
