Target reached for cancer unit

The target of $22,500, set by a Christchurch man to buy a breast cancer detection unit for the Christchurch Women’s 1 iospital, has been reached.

Mr L. J. Rhodes, the organiser and founder of the appeal, said yesterday that although the j target had been reached. : the cost of buying and installing the unit may J have increased.
