("The Press’’ Special Service) PALMERSTON NORTH. Zatashka looked an improved filly in training at Awapuni yesterday, and after her race at Walpukurau on Saturday she should strip at her best for the Champagne Stakes at Riccartou !on Monday. Zatashka is one of a strong I team which will be taken to the I meeting by Garth Ivil, who ■ saddled up four winners last week-end. Zatashka has benefited from her run. She was a shade unlucky not to have finished closer. Ajanta. Tama’s Mate. Royal Sign, Graven Spa, and possibly Florin will also go to Riccarton and Millie Mellay is an acceptor I for the meeting, but she might stay at home if there is not enough space aboard the aircraft.
