The largest re-surfacing operation of a Grand Prix circuit ever undertaken in Britain is being carried out at the Brands Hatch race track in Kent in time for the “Race of Shampions” on March 16. # « # A 28-year-old former Olympic downhill skier, Miss Divina Galica, has given up the sport after 13 years to take up motor-racing. She will start in British saloon-car racing with a 260 b.h.p, Escort. & * ♦ Team Lotus is spending $lOO,OOO on the production of a new Formula 1 car, designed largely by the head of Lotus, Mr Colin Chapman. The first car is now under construction.
