Firemen had to cut a mother and daughter and a young child free after the car in which they were riding was in collision with a con-

crete truck in Barrington Street. Spreydon, yesterday. Cheri Jan Thompson, aged four, of Dominion Avenue, was later admitted to hospital with moderately serious head injuries. Her condition last evening was satisfactory. A mother and her two children narrowly escaped injury yesterday afternoon when their car rolled and burst into flames. Mrs J. Geleyns, of Edinburgh Street, was taking a (corner in Spencer Street when her car turned over. (She climbed to safety through the windscreen and then pulled out the two children.
