CORONERS COURT Two young men diet in motor-cycle accidents

Two young men died • from severe head injur- ■ ies suffered in separate ' motor-cycle accidents. , the Christchurch District Coroner (Mr E. B. 1 E. Taylor) found yester- ' day. Stephen Russell Watts, j aged 17, was found to have! died of gross head injuries! suffered when the motor-' cycle he was riding left the road and hit a guard rail near Sheffield about midnight on January 1. Patrick Charles Fisher, aged 27. was found to have 1 : died of severe head injuries when the motor-cycle he was ' riding went out of control; near Kaiapoi about 10 p.m. on December 29. The Coroner also found ! that head injuries caused then deaths of Gary’ Wayne Rowe, Il

aged 19, and Thomas Archer, aged 60, in separate motor accidents. Thomas Archer was found to have died on January 8 when his car left the road near Little Akaloa and rolled [down a bank. Mr Rowe died of injuries suffered when a car driven i by him and a car driven by I Diane Noeline Dolan collided iin Beresford Street. New ; Brighton, on October 30 last. MULTIPLE INJURIES Mavis Gwendoline Shadbolt. aged 48, was found to have died from multiple injuries suffered when her car and a car driven by Kevin James Hart collided near'Lincoln on December 31. DROWNING Accidental drowning at Pines Beach on the evening I of January 3 was found to 'have been the cause of death

of William Charles Henderson. aged 56. HEAR! FAILURI Thomas Binney Lock, aged 87, was found to have died of acute heart failure, caused by gross arteriosclerosis. on January 8. POISONING Leslie George Jacobs, aged 70. was found to have died at Christchurch on December 31. the cause of death being methyl alcohol poisoning. SUICIDI Perseus Ellbogen, also known as Peter Phillip Overton. aged 29. was found to have died at Christchurch on December 27. having commit ted suicide, the cause of death being barbiturate and ponderax poisoning. Nancy Mabel Mary Hogg, aged 58, was found to have died at Christchurch on December 12, having commit ted suicide, the. cause oi death being asphyxia from carbon monoxide poisoning. Colleen Patricia aged 41. was found to have died at Christchurch on December 18, having committed suicide, the cause of death being severe burns. Brian Charles Doussett, aged 37, was found to have died on December 12, at Christchurch, having commit ted suicide, the cause of death being organo-phos-phorus poisoning, Albert James Crocker, aged 41, was found to have died at Christchurch on December 18, having committed suicide, the cause of death being asphyxia from carbon monoxide poisoning. Muriel Elizabeth Beale, aged 77. was found to have died at Christchurch on December 29, having committed suicide, the cause of death being barbiturate poisoning.
