Bowls event abandoned
Yesterday’s rain has forced the Christchurch! Women’s Bowling Centre to abandon its open triples; tournament. There were two rounds of ; section play on Monday, but play yesterday was impossible on some greens, and on others it was called off after only two ends. The decision to cancel was taken when it was learnt that some of the greens booked for today were unlikely to be available.
