St Patrick’s College (Wellington) scored 142 runs for five wickets on a restricted first day of its .annual first cricket XI match against St Bede’s College in Wellington yesterday. Scores: St Patrick’s College 142/5 IP. Vaughan 64; R. Campbell 3/28, M. Kennedy 2/40).
Soccer.—The draw for the semi-finals of the English Football Association Cup on April 5 is: Fulham v. Birmingham, West Ham v. Ipswich or Leeds. The draw for the semi-finals of the Scottish F.A. Cup is: Hearts or Dundee v. Celtic (at Hampden Park) on April 2; Arbroath or Airdriepnians v. Motherwell (at Hampden Park) on April 5. Shooting.—Derek Arnold, aged 35. of Lilydale, has won the centennial Queen’s Prize shoot at Williamstown Victoria, with a score of 350 points.
