DR EDWARDS MAY RETURN

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 7. Dr Brian Edwards, df ' Wellington, is almost certain to return to television under the new broadcasting set-up. Dr Edwards, once a dominant personality on television and now a private radio talk-back show host, said today that he had been approached by both channels and that it was "extremely likely” he would work for TVI.

But, he said, it would not be in the field of current affairs. His previous political involvement ruled that out, he said. Instead he would be involved in the wider area of “public affairs.” He added: “In the public affairs field there are going to be some of the things people have been wanting to do for a very long time with the N.Z.8.C.”
