Production of the E-type Jaguar has ended. In its 14 years, the car has earned Britain about £lsom in exports, and more than 72,000 of the cars have been built.

About 83 per cent of the E-types made were exported, mostly to the United States. Only about 12.000 remain in Britain. The last 50 E-types made had anniversary plaques on their instrument panels. Al! were finished in black.
