About antiques

Margaret Stoddart’s reputation as a water-colourist is well known. A dozen or so of her lovely paintings, all from one home, (including flowers, birds, and landscapes) are to be auctioned by R. G. Bell and Company, at their Easter Auction on March 26. Miss Stoddart gave these to her companion many years ago and they have remained in the family until now. Together with other fine pictures,, magnificent silver, furniture and ceramics, this promises to be one of the best sales the firm has presented. A few choice items can still be accepted for the catalogue. Please phone 62-026 as soon as possible. i — Advt,
