TEMUKA MATCH
Top players invited i Eleven All Blacks and I three Wallabies are among players invited to take part in a special Temuka Rugby I Club centenary celebration match at Easter. The Australians are the former Wallaby captain, Greg Davis, and two members of the Brisbane Brothers Club. David I’Estrange and Paul McLean, both of whom played against the All Blacks last winter.
! Six members of the All | Black side in Ireland four months ago are among the prospective players. They are Sid Going, lan Hurst, Joe Morgan, Tane Norton, Terry Mitchell, and Duncan Robertson. Fergie McCormick, Jeff Matheson, John Callesen. Bob Barber, and Sam Strahan are former All Blacks invited.
The Temuka club has cast its net wide. It has called on provincial stalwarts such as Jim Joseph (Marlborough) and Dave Sloper (Mid-Can-terbury); promising young men in Gary Seear (Otago), David Neal (Marlborough), and Geoff Valli (Southland); and notable performers of last year in Brian Going (North Auckland), Bill Anderson, and Gene Thomsen (both South Canterbury). The prospective teame are: No. 1 team.—McCormick; Mitchell, Hurst, I, D. Palmer (South Canterbury); Morgan, B. L. Going; S. M. Going; Seear; Neal, Strahan. Callesen, Davis; Joseph. J. E.
