Halswell plays

A double bill featuring the first act of Shaw’s “Arms and the Man,” and a

one-act play, “The Faithful Widow of Ephesus,” by Tom Cruden, described as a Greek comedy, will be presented on Friday and Saturday in the Halswell Hall by the Halswell Players.

“Widow’” is being produced by Lewis Moore, an English teacher at Lincoln High School. This is his first production, although he has experience in producing classroom drama. He has been a member of the Halswell Players for three years, and has acted in several .plays.

Dorothy Screen is producing the extract from Shaw’s play. She has been an active member of the Halswell Drama Group for some years, and has acted and produced for 10 years.
