Air freight increases

Inward freight and mail carried in January by Air New Zealand and Qantas increased by 60 per cent, compared with January, 1974, while similar cargo outwards increased 34 per cent, compared with the same period, according to the journal of Christchurch International Airport, “Air News.” The airport authority will add 50,000 cu. ft of freezer space to its cool stores.
