MARCHING VICTORY

A Canterbury marching team won first and second placings; at the South Island championships in Timaru in the weekend. In the midget grade, in ! which 17 teams competed. Blue! Star Taxis was the second cham-i pion team. It was also placed* first equal with Blair Athol Otagoi. in the display of marching section. According to the Canterbury march teams’ publicity officer (Mrs V. A. Holdem) Blue Star Taxis was placed first equal with Tarua (Otago) in the display of marching award.
