Migration gain

'(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. For the year ended November 30, 1974, New Zealand had a net migration gain of 33,287 to population, comi pared with net migration gains of 29,144 for the year ended November 30, 1973, and 17,842 for the 1972 November year, says the Government Statistician (Mr E. A. Harris). During the eight months since April L 1974, the net migration gain to population was 13,039, compared with gains of 13,328 and 10,318 for the corresponding eight months in the years beginning April L 1973, and April L 1972, respectively. In November, 1974, the net migration gain to population was 10,278, compared with gains of 8872 in November, 1973, and 6217 in November* 1972. These statistics were provisional, said Mr Harris.
