Prtst Attociation) 1 AUCKLAND The attempt by John Walker to avenge his 880 metres defeat by Filbert Bavi at the New Zealand Games will be the main feature of the international meeting at the Mount Smart Stadium today. The 14-event programme has been described by Mr Graham Davy, president of the Auckland Athletic Centre, as the most international in Auckland since the 1950 Commonwealth Games. About 60 athletes from eight countries will appear at the meeting, which will conclude with the 3000 metreg. The field for this will include John Davies (Wales), winner of the 3000 metres steeplechase in Christchurch On Saturday, Dick Quax the Games 5000 metres victor. Tappio Kantanen (Finland) and Anders Garderud (Sweden), the Tanzanian Nyambui Mjaya, and the Kenyans Richard Juma. Willie Kommen, and Langat Ndege.
