A two-storey property on the corner of Manchester Street and Worcester Street has been sold by private treaty for an undisclosed sum. ,

The property was auctioned last December and passed in at $75,000. Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and Hadfield, Ltd, who handled the sale, said yesterday that the property had been bought as an investment and would not be redeveloped. The building, on 15.75 perches, has four shops on the ground floor and offices above. The 1969 Government valuation was $60,000.
