1 50-hour walk Mr Franco Tacchella, aged 46, an Italian car salesman, has broken his own world record by walking for 50 hours without stopping, covering 202.6 miles. Mr Tacchella, who. set his previous record,, of 48 hours, last December, started from St Peter’s Basilica, and, for the most part, walked around the track in Rome’s Olympic Stadium. — Rome, Jan. 27. Two Canadian journalists have claimed the world record for non-stop talking over the radio after a total of 87 hours. The reporters, who beat the previous record of 86 hours set by two Colombians on December 23, were immediately congratulated by Quebec’s Finance Minister (Mr Raymond Gameau). — Quebec, Jan. 27. Vateclomy finding Men who have vasectomies as a method of contraception find that .their love life is greatly improved, according to the director of a British population-growth study. Mr Caspar Brook said yesterday: “The operation increases the sexual drive of many men.
