Letter boxes

Sir, — May I draw the attention of readers to letter boxes? I deliver papers twice a 'week and can now see how difficult it must be for many postmen to do their job properly. Some letter boxes are in very difficult places, perhaps concealed in the hedge, or behind a gate. Householders should look at the boxes from the postman’s view. Also, to those who complain about circulars cluttering up their letter boxes — a note on the letter box to inform the deliverer that they do not want them will rectify this. — Yours, etc., J. L. I.
