BREAKDOWN INSURANCE
A comprehensive insurance scheme which will allow motorists to insure against breakdowns and large garage bills will be introduced in Britain later this year. An insurance spokesman said that companies had made a survey of car reliability, and the premiums would be "not cheap,” but "realistic.” However, the scheme will apply only to new cars, starting when the maker’s warranty expires.
