Forecast: Canterbury: Moderate to fresh north-easterlies and cloud this morning, otherwise fine about the coast; inland light or moderate winds, mainly north-west-
erly, fine and warm but ! increasing high cloud. ! Marlborough: Light or mod- [ erate winds tending north- > erly; fine and warm. t Nelson. Buller, Westland: Light winds apart from afternoon sea breezes; fine; cloud increasing in West, ' land; mild by day. ■ Outlook: Cloudy in the west ; and scattered showers in ■ Westland; mainly fair else- - where.
