$NZ67m AID

TN. Z.P. A. Reuter—Copyright) BRUSSELS, Jan. 23. The European Economic Community has decided to pay the equivalent of SNZ67m towards a United Nations emergency fund to help the poorest developing countries. One-third of the sum will be paid directly into a United Nations account, and the remainder will be given bilaterally to countries worst hit by dearer oil-import bills. E.E.C. member-countries have already pledged to pay nearly SNZIS2m bilaterally to the worst-hit countries, and the Community itself has given about SNZ3Bm in food aid.
