„ „ HOBART. New South Wales has won both the Wilson Cup for girls and tlie Linton Cup for boys in tlie week-long junior tennis series in Hobart. The New Zealand junior team was unplaced in the series. New South Wales won the Linton Cup by beating Victoria. Both states each won five matches and 14 rubbers and the series was decided on sets won and lost.

In tlie Wilson Cup New South Wales beat Queensland in the final round. Both states had been undefeated until Queensland this round. The New Zealanders played their final Wilson Cup round on Saturday, beating Tasmania in the seventh round but being beaten by Queensland In the sixth. ‘
