London market moved higher last week
British industrial shares and Government securities rallied, but the gold miners’ section of the market fell on the London share market last week. Charterhall, which will drill in the North Sea in the spring, was well supported during the week. Trading in Australian shares was generally dull, but prices in London of banking and uranium shares moved up In sympathy with the rally in Australia. 8.H.P., and Western Mining were lower.
